About : Hall of Fame
(Leh, Ladakh)

The Hall of Fame was initially established in 1986 to showcase the valour and sacrifice of the Indian Army and also to display the rich culture and heritage of the Ladakh region.

In 2015, there was a felt need to upgrade the existing infrastructure to provide a better perspective and experience for visitors.

The renovated Hall of Fame was re-dedicated to the people of Ladakh after being inaugurated on June 13, 2016, by His Eminence Drukpa Thuksey Rinpoche, Head of Hemis Monastery. The ceremony was also attended by the MP of Ladakh, the CEC LAHC, and the General Officer Commanding 14 Corps.

Following the expansion project, the Hall of Fame complex now consists of the main Museum Building, War Memorial, War Cemetery, Souvenir Shop, Café Aroma, Adventure Park for Children and Parking Area for 50 Vehicles.
